The Epping Society would like to pay a heartfelt tribute to The Epping residents Group who after18 years has taken the difficult decision to dissolve. The group was set up 18 years with the following aims.
1/ To work on behalf of the residents of Epping to advance their best interests by providing advice and support.
2/ To provide an interface with Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) on the Local Plan and Planning Issies
3/ To Strenuously defend the greenbelt.
A number of original member of the group were still there to the end.
The Epping Society is very grateful to The Epping Residence Group for donating remaining funds in their account to us.
Recognition that our aims overlap was central to the decision we understand and we will do our best to take those aims forward.
Any members of the Epping Residence Group, if not so already are more than welcome to join us. (and indeed anyone else)
