Today we dive into our more recent history with a new collection taken of individual shops and businesses in June, 2003. All available to view in our 'Epping In Pictures' Section.
Some establishments are still with us, others are not. Maybe the photos in this collection will jog some memories. Please feel free to share either here or in the coffee shop (our forum) any memories you may have of any of these shops.
21 years (nearly) is not a long time in the scheme of things bug great change can be
affected in a relatively short space of time a things move on, businesses close and others open. I think we can safely say we have more coffee shops and restaurants than back then. we would love to hear your views on what you think. Is the High St better than it was? Is there anything that you miss?
It is the Epping Society's mission to 'Conserve and Improve'. If you feel invested in our town then please do consider joining the Society from only £5 a year.
