Epping Forest District Council will be holding it's Planning Meeting Tonight at 7pm at The Council Offices on Epping High Street. This is an open meeting and member of the pubic can attend.
Item number 9 on the Agenda is the decision regarding the Redwood Tree on Tidy's Lane. We have sent our petition to the council with 1,174 signatures opposing the destruction of this historic tree that has been a feature of Epping for over 150 years.
In just 1 single week we have obtained 1,174 signatures and featured on BBC Essex so this is of massive importance in public opinion and we very much trust that the council will listen to that opinion and not proceed with the tree's destruction when other solutions are available to protect nearby buildings.
